German Translation
As a native speaker of the German language, I can translate your English texts to German.
The Translation Process
The translation process includes the following steps:
Identify the requirements
- Scope
- Gather information about the topic/technical terms
Translation
- Translating text from English to German
- Modifying content and layout in order to adapt it to German conventions and context (e.g. address format, currency, measurements, legal requirements etc.)
Review and quality assurance
- Verifying the correctness of the translation
- Spell-checking
- Proofreading for consistency and fluency (so that it sounds natural and not translated)
- Testing (in case of a software (UI) translation)
Documentations
- Do you want to localize your software documentation to German?
- Do you get too many support tickets from German users because they don’t understand the English documentation? Do you want to translate the documentation to German?
- Do you already have a German translation of the documentation but you want to get a quality assurance from a native speaker?
Websites
- Do you want to make your website popular in German speaking countries?
- Do you have an online shop and you want to send your products also to Germany, Austria, or Switzerland? Do you need a German translation?
Software
- Have you developed a software application and want to translate the user interface to German?
- Do you want to make the software ready for the German market?
